Brian Rogers

Responsibilities: Chairman of the Council and Human Resource Committee. Member of the Finance & Governance Committee; Provides advice on Grounds maintenance, Devolved Services and Cemetery

Now supposedly retired, I’ve lived in Stone with my wife and occasional nomadic offspring since 2005. A once keen cyclist, walker and allotmenteer, ageing joints have forced me into a more sedentary lifestyle although I try to get around the Parish as much as possible overseeing several of the Parish Council’s Strategic Projects. Still an amateur meteorologist and enthusiastic cook, I now teach people of all ages the techniques of flying using a Chipmunk simulator in the Trenchard Museum at RAF Halton.  My previous involvement in project planning and management allows me to play an active part in the wide variety of Parish Council issues.

Mark Turner

Responsibilities: Vice Chairman, F&G Committee Chair, HR Committee, IT & Website, HS2 Council Representative

I was originally co-opted to the Parish Council in 2010 and then subsequently re-elected in 2011. I wanted to join the Parish Council as I felt that I could help make a difference and be an active member of our community. As a representative for Bishopstone, I am concerned about the impact that development projects on our side of Aylesbury and HS2 will have on our village. I am also concerned about road safety and maintaining our village amenities.   As a family, we moved to Bishopstone in 2005 after having lived in and around Aylesbury for the last 30 years. I am a consultant Building Services engineer and until recently ran my own practice.  I am now semi-retired.

I have been a resident of Stone for over 11 years, after living in the nearby village of Haddenham all of my life. 12 years an active PC member, I have an active interest in village life and since my retirement I have been co-opted to this Council.  I keep an active interest in the Jubilee Pavilion, War Memorial Recreation Ground, Annual Fete and serve on the Planning Committee.  I have three married children and 11 grand-children, so enjoy a busy family life. I sing with the local choirs and attend village groups.  This is a busy Parish Council and we always endeavour to improve facilities, appearance and the environment.

Gregory Coulthard

Responsibilities: Chairman of Planning Committee, Member of F&G Committee, Lead for Grounds Maintenance

Having spent 50+ years in the county of Middlesex, we as a family decided a move to the countryside was long overdue, so we sold up and in late 2016 we finally made the move to the village of Stone.
With a background in Finance and Auditing, I felt an ideal way to learn about our new home village and also be active in the community was to join the local Parish Council, and in due course I was co-opted onto the council in November 2017.  I have always had an interest in local issues, especially planning and my hobbies include watching sports and membership and involvement with many fraternal organisations.

Louisa Moreton

Responsibilities: Jubilee Pavilion Committee, Planning Committee

Having grown up nearby in Oxfordshire, I moved to Stone from London in 2011 with my husband, and we now have two young children, who love cycling on Eythrope Road, picking blackberries in the fields and lanes, playing in the playground, spotting wildlife, Lynx Gym and getting dirty in the garden!

After Edinburgh University I specialised in communication and have run large teams in Publicis and other global groups. As an MD, much of my role was spent negotiating contracts, reviewing design and communication work, analysing financial data, building relationships and communicating - experience I am looking forward to using as a Councillor! I also spent time in Central Government and the Department for Education. I recently set up my own consultancy, to give me more freedom to be involved in local life and to enjoy the beautiful and friendly area we live in. I enjoy gardening, swimming, theatre and all the varied local festivals and events on offer.

Krystyna Rzemieniecka

I was born in Aylesbury and went to school at Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School. After gaining a degree in modern languages and literatures at London University, I embarked on a career in the world of fashion and beauty as brand manager and finally marketing director.  I was London based. It was hard work but great fun, often glamorous and involved much international travel.  I returned to Bucks for some peace and quiet, which I have found!  I have been living very happily in Stone for nearly 25 years. I run my own marketing and communications business. I enjoy spending time with my family, film and theatre, music and good company.  Throughout my marketing career,  I was expected "to make things happen". I hope that the skills I have gained will help me make a positive contribution to the villages and their communities.
