I was born in Aylesbury and attended The Grange School. I completed an engineering apprenticeship and have been the Sales Director in a local company for the last 20 years.   I have two grown-up sons and have just become a Granddad for the first time.  I re-married in 2011 and moved to Eythrope – where my wife is a gardener. I am often out walking Chloe, our working cocker spaniel. 

I am a Christian and an active member of St. John’s Church in Stone. I help run the monthly ‘Café in the Park’ and was on the organising committee for the 2018 Stone Village Fete.  I am a Chelsea supporter and a member of St. John’s Sports and Social Club.   I am a firm believer in the benefits of community and look forward to working within the Parish Council.

I have lived in Stone for 20 years and have been on the Parish Council for approximately 15 years.   I am currently working full time as a machine operator.  I cycle regularly around Stone and you will see me from time to time picking up litter from the street and also from around the pond.

I moved into the local area in 2016 with my wife, young son and German Shepherd and we have since grown the family with our youngest joining us in 2019. I am an avid car enthusiast, enjoying any types of motorsport with my sons but you are most likely to see me walking my dog somewhere in the Parish.

I have a rewarding career in retail banking, working closely with the local communities that the branches serve. Alongside this I want to support the local community in which I live, working to improve it for the people that live and work in the Parish. How important our local area is has been brought into focus during and following the pandemic with more people spending more time local to home and I would like to see our community flourish.

Peter Comben

I live in a Grade II listed property within the parish and have been a resident for over 20 years.

My professional background is as a business I.T. consultant, although I have now stepped away from this after 30 years, coinciding with my two daughters being grown up, to concentrate more on work that benefits our community, volunteering and one of my passions which is motorcycling.

My wife and I keep a small flock of rescue ex-factory farmed hens who provide enough fresh eggs to keep us and our neighbours well fed. I have a particular interest in ecology, conservation, animal welfare and the built environment. In the past I have been a member of the committee that looks after the structure of St. John the Baptist in Stone, am regularly seen maintaining the churchyard and have more recently become an avid litter picker within the parish.

Perry Harris

Litter Picking

I have lived in Bishopstone since 2001 with my wife and two sons, who have now flown the nest. We share the home with two long haired German Shepherd dogs, Frankie and Bow and my wife’s two horses, Sky and Haruko. I work as a Freelance IT consultant as part of a continuing 42 year career in IT. My main passion is flying. I attained my Pilots Licence in 2016 at RAF Halton and own and fly a French vintage aeroplane from Marsh Hill Farm airstrip. My reason for becoming a Parish Councillor is to combat the incredible amount of litter that accumulates in the village mostly from passing traffic.

I have lived in Bishopstone since 2004 and is born and bred in the Aylesbury Vale.

I recently retired as a senior police officer having spent thirty years with Thames Valley Police. For three years, I was the local police commander for the Aylesbury Vale. I have extensive experience in tackling organised and serious crime being awarded a Queens Police Medal (QPM) for distinguished service in Her Majesties 2021 Birthday Honours List.

I'm a Co Chair of Governors at Princes Risborough School and actively involved in the running of local cricket and football clubs. I'm an Honorary Senior Fellow and Visiting Lecturer at the University of Buckingham in the Intellegence and Security Studies department.
