Enid Robinson

Chairman, Chairman of HR Committee, Community Board, HS2.

I have been a resident of Stone for over 14 years, moving from my Tenancy at The Red Lion, Haddenham.

I have energy and time to be involved with the Parish Council for over four years and now as elected Chairman it gives me hands on involvement with both Stone & Bishopstone. The routine life of Jubilee Pavilion promotes a sense of belonging too.
I have a busy family commitment with three married children giving me eleven Grandchildren and three Great Grandchildren.

Good friends within the Churches and numerous village Groups & residents.

I will continue to work for the benefits & enjoyment of Village Life.

I have lived in Stone for 20 years and have been on the Parish Council for approximately 15 years.   I am currently working full time as a machine operator.  I cycle regularly around Stone and you will see me from time to time picking up litter from the street and also from around the pond.

Martin Skeet

Chairman of Planning Committee

I moved to Bishopstone from London in 2013. I had never previously lived in a small rural community and I was overwhelmed by the friendly community spirit that I discovered.

I worked full time in London in Branding and Communications businesse until 2017 and then took a major career change to indulge in one of my passions which is classic cars. In 2019 I set up Silsoe Classic and Modern Ltd, a classic car full service restoration business based in Bedfordshire.

I have always enjoyed trying to help the community I live in. In London I set up a residents group to deal with a complex development that impinged on several properties in South London.

In Bishopstone, I took part in the ditch digging day after the village flooded in 2013 and spent two days painting the village hall when it was refurbished. I’ve attended litter picking days and also help out on the Bishopstone film nights by serving food. Now that I am back running my own successful business and therefore have the ability to work flexibly, I now feel I have the time to offer valuable energy to the broader community as a Parish Councillor.

At weekends, I enjoy walking Stan, my working Cocker Spaniel around Bishopstone, Eythrope and Wendover.

Clive Corbould

Finance, Jubilee Pavilion

I was born in Aylesbury and attended The Grange School. I completed an engineering apprenticeship and have been the Sales Director in a local company for the last 20 years.   I have two grown-up sons and have just become a Granddad for the first time.  I re-married in 2011 and moved to Eythrope – where my wife is a gardener. I am often out walking Chloe, our working cocker spaniel.

I am a Christian and an active member of St. John’s Church in Stone. I help run the monthly ‘Café in the Park’ and was on the organising committee for the 2018 Stone Village Fete.  I am a Chelsea supporter and a member of St. John’s Sports and Social Club.   I am a firm believer in the benefits of community and look forward to working within the Parish Council.
